Description of Pedagogical Tool:

Our multiliteracies instructional tool is an 8-minute video which outlines the twelve different character archetypes that can be found in literature. The Sims 4 is used to provide a brief description, strengths, weaknesses, and examples of each archetype through a visual, auditory, and contemporary medium. The video serves not only as an instructional tool but also as a tool for assessment of understanding with a short “pop-quiz” included to test student’s comprehension
