A typewritten ledger with the title: "Accounts of money received for writing." The first section is for 1923. From left to write there are columns for the date, the kind of work, and the amount earned. In 1923 he earned $314 with 17 different sources of income. The bottom section is for 1924, and is a lot more sparse; has no dates and only three entries, but one of them "J. T. F," standing for John T. Frederick, has earnings of $120. In 1924 he earned $177.50. The 1924 section looks incomplete because it's lacking the dates and final sum that is present in the 1923 section.
