Interviews Dawn Desmarais, a straight woman on her support of Windsor's first pride event outside of JB's Restaurant and Bar. She helped her friend, Gary Menard, holder of the title of Miss Happy Tap 1992, with face and body painting at the event. The event was organized by David Jokoby, and featured award ceremonies and musical performances by choirs and drag queens. The owner says they were prepared for a negative public reaction, but never got one. Jim Monk was named man of the year, and Diane Skomash named woman of the year.
